Cleats & Tie Downs
If you haul items that sit up
high in the bed of your truck, you should invest in a good set of
cleats or tie downs. They come in very handy, but they're often
something you only miss when you really need them. And trucks
don't come with them, so you have to get them on your own.
Have you ever been driving down
the highway and ended up behind someone's overloaded pickup? Kind
of a scary sight. In fact, it's illegal in many locations to drive
on a major thoroughfare without your load tied down tightly with
strong rope that is secured with cleats.
If you're worried about
installing them in your truck bed, don't be! Almost all tie downs
and cleat sets can be installed by anyone reasonably familiar with
how a screw driver works.
