Fender Flares
The right set of fender flares
can make plain trucks look like custom jobs. The trick is to match
the flare with the rest of the truck, not vice versa (see below).
In other words, look for trim
with an open mind and an eye toward finding something that
complements your pickup's style. Don't get your heart so set on
one type of fender flares that you end up with a silly-looking truck.
If you drive a pickup with
single-tone paint, thin chrome flares on the fenders are a nice
touch. If you have a two-tone paint job, matching the color with a
thicker trim set is a great look. Just beware cheap accessories
when it comes to flares! You often get what you pay for.
